So this year for our annual gingerbread party, we threw in a popular twist.  Everyone come in Ugly sweaters.  It sort of went ... But next year, it is definitely time for Ugliness.  Here are some of the pictures of the madness.

Today, I am trying something new.  I am having Drex help SidneyJade with her Math.  I am attempting to home-school.  I am doing a miserable job.  i just do not seem to be cut out for this, no matter how hard I try or how much effort I put into it.

So I have enlisted help.....albeit unwilling help.  Drex has graduated from high school and is still looking for a job.  He is getting bored.  With the recent move, there seems to be less chores.  We are waiting for paint to dry often.  There are very few cores that can be delegated every day.  I however discovered something.  Drex is desperate for companionship and will even work with or do stuff with his sister.  I am capitalizing on this.  The more i make the  kids work together, the more they get along.  Seems counter intuitive, but they have to figure it out.
